About Twilight Estates (Lexington, Kentucky)

Twilight Estates is MVS's racing division. This includes our large string of Arabian racers, our Thoroughbred flat-racers, and our steeplechasers. It is also the home to Twilight Downs, a 1-mile dirt and 7/8-mile turf racetrack.

Twilight Estates has a "horse first" attitude. We strive to keep our racehorses solid in both bone and temperament to give them the edge on the racetrack. If a horse is looking or acting off, we will pull them from a race with no questions asked. "One race is not worth a career" is a saying our trainers love to repeat.

Twilight Estate's Thoroughbreds are mostly turf racers. This is so we can encourage a post-flat steeplechasing career for most of them, if they are suitable.

Our Arabian racing herd is the largest, being one of MVS's main focuses. We have a large variety of Arabian racers racing in the AJC, many who do not sport typical racing lines.
