Welcome to Midnight Valley Stables (MVS), a stable established for a SIM horse game called Horses Forever in September 2007 by Jade.
Midnight Valley Stables has a long history, starting out with two Arabians and three flat-racing Thoroughbreds in HF. In a short amount of time, Polaris Arabians was created and split from Midnight Valley. Shortly thereafter, Twilight Estates, our Arabian and Thoroughbred racing division, was born, with next to last division, Asimo Warmbloods, being established late in 2008. Finally, our pony division, Summit Sport Ponies, launched in early 2009 after we watched our pony herd grow.
Breeding & Sales
MVS is constantly selling and breeding our horses, it seems. We currently have a 2009 MVS Stallion Catalogue that is listed on the Stud Ads board on HF that displays all of our stallions available for public breedings. However, that is not the end of it! MOST of our stallions are available for breedings via private treaties and many of our mares may be used for ET, if you provide a surrogate mare.
We will ocassionally post sales on the Sales Board on HF, but if a horse catches your eye, we will always entertain offers on all of our horses.
We will usually have a contract posted for each individual sale or breeding, but some terms and conditions that will always apply are:
1. Foals resulting from either A) a custom breeding between an MVS mare and MVS stallion, or B) an embryo transfer from an MVS mare, must have the "PYR" prefix.
2. Horses & foals marked with the "PYR" prefix may never leave HF for any reason.
3. Inactive "PYR" horses and foals will be reclaimed from the buyer.
4. Inactive horses and foals bred by an MVS stallion or foaled from an MVS mare (live or ET) will be reclaimed and returned to either A) MVS or B) the current/original owner of the sire or dam not from MVS.
5. Horses and foals bred by an MVS stallion or foaled from an MVS mare (live or ET) are not to leave HF without prior consent of MVS.
6. MVS retains buybacks on all "PYR" horses and foals.
